My Personal Collection of French Jackets

When I initially decided to start creating this style jacket I was joyously excited by the fabrics I had decided to use. The fact they are made in the UK and with only a limited amount produced - once it's gone it's gone. This is particularly true of the couture collection which always sell out extremely fast.  So you have to be quick if there is a fabric you like.  New fabrics are introduced to the collection weekly so there will be the fabric you just love.

What I was unsure about was that for most of my life I had avoided this style jacket thinking it just wasn’t me. Now I have a whole range and whilst I have created various styles and more than happy to do so for my clients, my favourite is the shorter contemporary jacket with fringe detail pockets and edging. I have been surprised how easy the jackets are to wear. I have kept the style very simple with no fuss of braiding or buttons making it so easy to slip on. 

The jacket immediately transforms the way you look and how you feel. Another important point is that whilst it transforms an outfit it is also very comfortable to wear so you are not always worrying about what it is doing!  The fact each jacket is a one off, bespoke, high quality and well made you effortlessy feel like you are wearing something special.

I wear the jacket several different ways. They transform a pair of jeans and a simple white t.  Look stunning with a long floating skirt, heals or flats, even a pair of silver plimsolls to which I have recently succumbed.

I also wear the jacket with tapered trousers and flat brogues for a more masculine look, afterall this is where Coco Chanel came up with the idea.  Again you can pair with a white t or your favourite white shirt. For a more formal look team with a pencil skirt, my favourite has a side pleat, and your favourite heals.  I really enjoy wearing my jacket with a denim midi skirt and my favourite Russell and Bromley boots which were worth every penny!

The planet cannot afford fast fashion it therefore makes me happy knowing I will wear my jacket at least 50 times if not more as they are so beautifully made and tailored to me.  An investment for the planet and your wardrobe!
